Age of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit
Ecc 3:1, KJV To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven . . .
In this world, everyone has a certain goal and purpose for their lives. Likewise, we should set a certain goal for our faith: the salvation of our souls, eternal life.
1 Pe 1:8-9 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
In order for His people to receive salvation, God divided six thousand years into three ages, and allowed a different Savior’s name for each age.
Mt 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
As is commonly known, the name of the Father is "Jehovah," and the name of the Son is "Jesus." Baptism is the first step that we can take towards becoming a child of God, and to be baptized correctly, we must first know the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit.
